Chaminade is generally a safe campus. The Hawaii Department of Eductation requires public disclosure of crime statistics for all educational institutions in the state. The complete data is published yearly in the Chaminade student handbook. The most recent figures available are for 2006. Three serious incidents were reported that year for on- and off-campus properties, including 1 sex offense, 1 auto theft and 1 burglary.
