Chaminade is excited to offer this program through the Leadership Alliance. This program allows students to travel to many well known colleges on the U.S. mainland to do funded research in the summer. This all expense paid summer internship provides students with a competitive stipend, travel, and housing. It is intended for undergraduate students from under-represented groups, who are interested in graduate study and future careers in research and academia. See participating institutions and programs in the chart below.

The Leadership Alliance National Symposium is the culmination of the summer research experience for SR-EIP participants. Students make oral presentations or present posters about their summer research projects to a national audience of peers, faculty, and representatives from the public and private sectors.

The Leadership Alliance

The internship program is called the SR-EIP (Leadership Alliance Summer Research Early Identification Program.) Chaminade is a member of The Leadership Alliance, a consortium of 30+ colleges and universities dedicated to the development of research scholars and leaders in reseach from under-represented groups. More about Chaminade's membership in the Leadership Alliance.
