How to Register for Classes

PORTAL Instructions

  1. Go to portal.chaminade.edu.
  2. Enter your User name (Chaminade student ID #) and password. Note: Your default password is the last 4 digits of your social security number OR  birth date (mmddyy).
  3. Once your portal homepage opens, look for the "WebAdvisor" box on the right-hand side and select the "Register for Classes"
  4. Once on the registration page, you may search for your desired course by selecting the term, subject, course level and then clicking submit
  5. After finding your intended course, check the box to the left of the course in the "Select" column and click submit
  6. Highlight the "Register" option next to your course, located in the drop down menu in the "Action" column and click submit.
  7. Be sure to review Chaminade University's "Terms and Conditions for Registration"

WebAdvisor Instructions

  1. Go to webadvisor.chaminade.edu.
  2. Click on "Students."
  3. Select the "Log In" tab.
  4. Enter your User ID (Chaminade Student ID #) and your password (your default password is the last 4 digits of your social security number) and then select "Submit."
  5. On the right side of the screen under the "Registration" section, select "Register for Classes"
  6. Once on the registration page, you may search for your desired course by selecting the term, subject, course level and then clicking submit
  7. After finding your intended course, check the box to the left of the course in the "Select" column and click submit
  8. Highlight the "Register" option next to your course, located in the drop down menu in the "Action" column and click submit.
  9. Be sure to review Chaminade University's "Terms and Conditions for Registration"

Some notes on Chaminade day undergraduate terms.

Chaminade offers four terms per year for day undergraduates:

Fall Day/Evening
Spring Day/Evening
Summer Session I
Summer Session II
 

Chaminade terms are based on the current academic year beginning with the summer sessions.

For Example:
2011 Fall Day/Evening = 2011FA
2012 Spring Day/Evening = 2011SP
2012 Summer Session I = 2011SS1
2012 Summer Session II = 2012SS2

How to Print Your Schedule

  1. Go to portal.chaminade.edu.

  3. Once your portal homepage opens, look for the "WebAdvisor" box on the right-hand side.
  4. Select "Academic Profile" under WebAdvisor.  This will expand to expose another set of links.
  5. Click on "My Class Schedule."
  6. A new window will open - in the dropdown menu next to "Term" select the appropriate term.  Select "Submit."
  7. When your schedule appears you can select File>Print  from your browser's menu bar.

WebAdvisor Instructions

  1. Go to webadvisor.chaminade.edu.
  2. Click on "Students."
