The four-year plan for your major is a key component of our four-year graduation guarantee.
Please choose your start term for the four-year plan that applies to you. If you have a different start term, or transferred to Chaminade, please check with your academic advisor.
Please note, some degrees are highly structured which requires students to follow a series of courses each semester in order to appropriately progress through the degree program. While there may be some slight deviations from the plan based on your situation, for such programs we strongly advise that you adhere as closely as possible to the plan in order to finish your degree in a timely manner. Other degrees are more flexible, and many of your requirements can be fulfilled in almost any order you wish. For any major, you should consult academic advising or your faculty advisor every semester for up-to-date information on completing your degree.

Four-year graduation guarantee: Graduate in four years.
Why four-year plans? Nationally, the average time it takes a college student to graduate with a Bachelor's degree is six years. Often, colleges and universities do not have individual degree requirements in mind when assembling semester schedules which leads to limited course availability. For example, a student may be ready to take a class for a degree program, but it is not offered that semester. Sometimes they must wait an entire year to take a required course in sequence. College costs can rise dramatically if a student is unable to complete a degree program on time.
Graduating on time: Chaminade has systematically addressed this problem in order that all students may graduate in four years. The Academic Advising Office works closely with the registrar, deans, and faculty advisors to create semester schedules that work for every student. We publish four-year plans for every major so all students and advisors have a game plan.
