Curtis has been to 26 different countries, and is always looking to add to the total. He enjoys working with students and learning new things. His advice to students is “develop good study habits early, and you’ll never have a problem.”
Merilee joined Chaminade University’s Advising team in January 2009 and finds joy in interacting with the students, faculty, and staff. When not at CUH, she can be found perusing the aisles of any library or bookstore, crocheting on her couch at home, or exploring Hawaii’s great outdoors. Her advice to students: “Know your dreams, and set high goals. If the path you are currently on is not taking you to where you want to be, change directions immediately.”
Allan strongly believes that education is a key to opening up further opportunities in life. He believes people should pursue their passion. He also enjoy spending time with his family and going to the beach. Allan says “I’m just here to guide students and point them into the right direction, while at the same time allowing them to make their own decisions.”
Jaushlyn enjoys boogie boarding at the beach, going to the movies, and hanging out with friends. She enjoys being a secretary because she likes to interact with the students and watch them progress over the years. Her advice to students would be, “Never give up. There’ll always be obstacles in your life…but overcoming those obstacles will define who you are.”
