What if I do not have health insurance?
You are required to have health insurance to attend Chaminade University if you are (one or more):
Students who are not included in any of these 3 groups are not required to have health insurance, however, they do need to meet the state immunization requirements.
You may purchase the UH-Chaminade Student Insurance Plan for Summer 2011 which will give you coverage from May 20-August 19, 2011. You can apply and pay your bill online (additional $10 online processing fee) at www.hmsa.com/portal/student or complete a hard copy of the application and pay by check. The Benefit Summary & Application is available through the Chaminade Office of Student Support Services or through http://www.hmsa.com/portal/student. You may contact Student Support Services staff at (808) 735-4724. The deadline to apply is June 10.
