Military Base Information for Evening Classes

Air Force (Hickam Air Force)

All faculty and students who do not have a military ID card must apply for vehicle passes.  Please submit your current vehicle registration, safety inspection, certificate of automobile insurance and driver's license and/or other form of jpicture identification for vehicle(s) and driver(s) when requesting badges.  This information must be received by Pass and Registration 10 days prior to issuing badges.  Personnel must pick up their badges within 30 days of the date from this letter.  All IDs will take 10 days to process.

Army (Schofield Barracks & Tripler Army Medical Center)

All faculty and students who do not have a military ID card must get an Installation Access Pass (IAP) card in order to enter Schofield Barracks and Tripler Army Medical Center (AMC). The application for an IAP card is available at all sites. Any civilian student wishing to take classes on Army military installations is required to complete this application. Students must complete the applicant information section at the top and sign where it says applicant signature near the bottom of the form. Once the student has filled in his/her portion, please forward the ORIGINAL copy to Schofield Barracks or Tripler AMC for the remaining information to be completed by the issuing office. Faxed copies are not accepted. The pass application will take approximately 14 business days to process.

Marines (Camp Smith & Kaneohe Marine Corps Base)

Before venturing out to obtain your pass, please call the Kaneohe Marine Base office at 254-1256 with the days and times you will be on base so they can place you on a list of civilian instructors and students. There are no applications to fill out, but you do need the required documents for a base pass. Borrowed cars/drop offs are not be permitted. You will need to be in line to the Pass House before 1630 to get your term pass. After 1630 you will be allowed in on a day by day basis. Civilians who enroll during the last week before the start of classes or during the add/drop period should check with the Kaneohe Marine Base office to make sure that they get on the list just to be on the safe side.

Navy (Pearl Harbor)

Pearl Harbor is restricted to personnel who already have access to the base.
