Public Sector MBA Concentration

This prepare students looking to establish or advance their careers in government organizations and organizations that do business with the government. Public Sector leaders are increasingly expected to improve efficiency and effectiveness. A Public Sector MBA Concentration brings the best of business thinking to public sector work.

Public Sector MBA students take the MBA core courses plus the electives in the table below. Students choosing the Public Sector MBA may substitute two core courses: MBA 730 Services Marketing for MBA 612 Managerial Marketing; and MBA 615 Public and Not-for-Profit Finance for MBA 610 Managerial Accounting.

Evenings, Flexibility

The MBA program accommodates students with jobs, families, and responsibilities. Classes meet one evening per week from 5:45pm to 9:30pm. Students taking 2 courses per 10-week quarter, the norm, can finish in 18-21 months. Some take one class; a few take three. We try to flexibly accommodate.
