Service to the Community
Chaminade's Community Service program is one of the programs within Campus Ministry. It embodies the ideal of love of neighbor taught by Jesus Christ. Volunteers get to know more about themselves, others and "the strange-to-you" parts of life.
Volunteers will have lots of fun and be spiritually enriched by the people they meet and those they will help serve. Volunteering your help through service is a great way to foster new friendships and to put the gospel messages into action.
We encourage you to take a risk and get involved in the various service projects we offer throughout the academic year. If you’ve been involved with community service projects during your years at high school or at your home parish, please share them with me. I'd love to hear of suggestions that would help improve our program.
