The road to career employment is not usually a straight path. Along the way, we encourage you to explore different routes to build your skills and knowledge such as volunteering, internships and opportunities that take place out-of-state or abroad. Research various career options, learn more about what is available, and practice talking with your peers and faculty to start building your network.
Every student--from Associate's level to Master's candidate-- has access to career advising through the Office of Retention, Advising & Career Preparation. In addition to the online resources offered through Symplicity, an Advisor can meet with you individually to:

Career advising is available for current Chaminade University students and degreed alumni. An appointment is recommended. Students will be able to make an appointment through AdviseStream, a new platform for retaining student academic and co-curricular achievements. Alumni and students may also call the office at (808)735-4815 to schedule an appointment.
The Office of Retention, Advising & Career Preparation is located on the Chaminade campus in Clarence T.C. Ching Hall, room 252. Career Preparation is also active on various social media platforms and can be found with the username @cuhcareers.
