EDUCATION DIVISION

Welcome and mahalo for your interest in our education programs at Chaminade University of Honolulu. We offer a variety of options including licensure, Master of Education (M.Ed.), and Early Childhood Education (ECE).

Licensure programs include Elementary (K-6); Secondary (7-12); and SpecialEducation (K-12).

The M.Ed program is for those individuals seeking a master's degree with an emphasis in such areas as child development, Montessori, gifted education, leadership, curriculum & instruction, or teaching (elementary, secondary, special education).

The ECE programs include CDA certification, Associate of Science in ECE, or Bachelor of Science in ECE.

Our Mission:

To foster the development of teachers and leaders in education through programs based in the liberal arts tradition, Catholic Marianist values, current research, best practice, and state and professional standards. The graduate programs prepare professionals to assume a leadership role in education by advancing their educational training and expertise. Courses of study are aligned with Hawaii Teachers Standards Board and the specific professional associations appropriate to each program and each field of study.
