Overview

Chaminade's Masters Degree Programs in Education provide enriched learning experiences for educational professionals who already have a bachelor's degree and who want to extend their knowledge and professional qualifications in the field of education. Candidates in Masters' programs are expected to be able to draw upon their bachelor's degree and life experience while acquiring advanced professional knowledge and skills.

Program Options


EducationThe Education Division offers the following Graduate Programs that lead to Master’s degrees in different fields of study.

Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) (Licensure)

The Master of Arts in Teaching program provides state approved teacher education programs leading to initial licensure for teachers in the state of Hawai`i in four areas: Elementary, Secondary, Special Education, and PK-3 (Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 3).

Master of Education (M.Ed.)

The Master of Education provides enriched learning experiences Education for educational professionals who already have a bachelor's degree and who want to extend their knowledge and professional qualifications in the field of education. Candidates in M.Ed. programs are expected to be able to draw upon their bachelor's degree and life experience while acquiring advanced professional knowledge and skills.

Special Programs

Special Programs are cohort programs offered in conjunction with partnership organizations or institutions. Educators interested in these programs should contact the Education Division, and they will be directed to the partner organization for more information.
