Dr. David Grossman brings a global perspective and years of international experience to his role of Interim Dean of the Educational Division at Chaminade. His research and scholarship encompasses the areas of citizenship education;
global, international & intercultural education;
teacher education;
classroom pedagogy; and
comparative education.
Dr. Grossman is an Adjunct Senior Fellow, Education Program, East-West Center,
and an Affiliate Graduate Faculty Member, Department of Educational
Foundations, University of Hawaii College of Education. From 2005 to 2007 Dr. Grossman was Dean of the Faculty of Languages, Arts & Sciences, Hong Kong Institute of Education. Dr. Grossman has served as Director, Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural
Education (SPICE), Stanford University, Stanford California. He is the author of numerous books, chapters and papers.
