Associate Professor, Nursing

Associate Professor Heather Schlessman, PhD, PNP is a pediatric nurse practitioner/educator who has been a nurse for over 30 years. She has practiced in many areas of nursing related to maternal/child health, most recently as a pediatric nurse practitioner in pediatric urology. Her research interests and dissertation work involve college students with a history of traumatic brain injury. Her teaching career spans 12 years. She has experience in curriculum development and was involved in the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education.
