The Montessori Summer Institute is a unique professional growth opportunity for teachers of children ages three to six years.
This intensive two-week enrichment program will illustrate and instruct how to use the resources of the child's own culture and environment for meaningful, ideal growth and development. On-going support in selecting, planning and funding an outreach experience will be provided.
Hawaii with its unique natural environment and rich cultural heritage provides a wonderful model for culturally appropriate practice, outdoor materials and hands-on experience.
The Montessori Summer Institute is offered by Chaminade University in collaboration with Star of the Sea Early Learning Center Peace Institute.
