You may want to look at the Preference option and alter some of them. For example, the save copy of outgoing mail in sent folder is defaulted to NO, you may want to change it to YES so you have a copy of what you sent out.
Please pay attention to the limit of your mailbox. Once this reaches its limit, you will not receive any emails until you have cleaned out your mailbox.
