Access to Online Databases

On campus (Chaminade IP addresses)

Search online for library articles and books through the Databases by Subject page.

Off-campus (Non-Chaminade IP addresses)

Access to library subscription databases is available to current Chaminade students, faculty and staff.

1. From the Search For link on the left sidebar, select a page.
2. If you reach a page that requires authentication, enter your seven-digit Chaminade ID number and the password you use to login to the Web Portal for grades.
3. Click the Login button.

If you have never logged in to the Chaminade network before go to the Web Portal and follow the Login Instructions at the bottom of the page.

• If you don't know your Chaminade ID number, click the What's my new ID? link under the Sign In button.
• If you have forgotten your password, click the Forgot password? tab.

Web Portal

1. Access to library subscription databases is also available to current Chaminade students, faculty and staff through the Web Portal.
• Login to the Web Portal and click on the Online Services tab.
• Look for the database in the right-hand column under Research Databases.
2. If the database is part of the EBSCOhost Research Databases, click on the EBSCOhost link.
3. If you are searching for Ebrary ebooks, click on the Ebrary link.
   • Follow the directions to download the Ebrary reader plugin.
   • If you already searched for an Ebrary book, write down the title/author because you need to search for it again through the Web Portal.
4. If you have a Chaminade WebCT account, instructions for access are available from the myWebCT page. Click on the Sullivan Family Library Electronic Resources link under Institutional Bookmarks.
