ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) provides access to education literature and resources. ERIC includes full text of digests, references for additional information, citations and abstracts from over 825 education journals (EJ), and over 107,000 full text ERIC documents (ED).

Access
1. Go to Sullivan Family Library’s home page at http://www.chaminade.edu/library
2. Click on Search For, then Databases by Title.
3. Select ERIC.
For off campus access, login with your Chaminade ID and password.
Search
1. At the Basic Search screen, enter your term(s) in the search box.
2. Refine Search:
A. Search Options
B. Limit your results (narrow your search):
- Search mode
- Apply related words – include synonyms and plurals.
- Full Text – limits search results to full text articles.
- Journal Name – limits search results to articles from a specific title.
- Date Published From – limits search results to a date range.
- ERIC Number
- Journal or Document – select Documents or Journal Articles.
- Intended Audience
- Language
