LECTURERS

Chaminade is seeking candidates for the part time lecturer pool to teach in the evening and day sessions. Specific needs are: Accounting, Anatomy and Physiology, Botany and Ethnobotany, Business, College Algebra, Economics, English (expository writing), Environmental Botany, History, Human Nutrition, Human Resource Management, Interior Design (drafting), Management/Leadership, Marketing, Philosophy, and Religion. Requires a masters degree in the discipline and teaching experience at a college level preferred. Submit a resume, transcript copy, and, if available, teaching evaluations. DIRECTOR OF CAREER SERVICES

Develops, implements, directs, and promotes career planning and placement services and programs for students and alumni. Knowledge of career guidance, job counseling, personnel and labor laws. Must possess strong verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills. Proven administrative, managerial, and supervisory skills and experience. Ability to relate with administration, faculty, staff, students, business and community representatives. Master’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Counseling or related field, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Career Services, Human Resources, or higher education field required. HEAD COACH MEN'S GOLF (Part-Time)

The Head Coach for Men’s Golf is responsible for managing all aspects of an NCAA Division II program. Responsible for recruiting and selecting student-athletes, developing a training program, scheduling practices and competition, and coordinating team travel as well as fundraising and promotional activities. Must be familiar with NCAA Division II rules and regulations. Previous experience coaching at the collegiate level is highly desirable. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

Seeking an energetic and experienced individual to fill its position of Instructional Technology Specialist. The successful candidate will work with faculty on the design and development of instructional content that will be used in online, blended, and traditional on-campus courses; plan, coordinate and conduct workshops on the use of new technologies; provide system and administrative support for online courses; provide audio-visual support for classrooms and campus activities; conduct research on emerging technologies for use in an academic setting; and provide instruction and support to students and staff to assist them in the development and/or improvement of technology skills. Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of work experience providing technical support required. Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design or Education preferred.

MONTESSORI HEAD TEACHER

Head Montessori teacher position available whose primary responsibility as a curricular leader and facilitator of the Montessori early childhood (3-6) primary program to include both preschool and kindergarten. Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and an AMS Certificate is required with a minimum of three to five year’s work experience teaching in a Montessori environment.

PROGRAM ADVISOR/EVENTS COORDINATOR

Responsible for providing personal and academic advising for a caseload of TRiO Program Participants. Developing and facilitating life-skills workshops and cultural events and supervision of student mentors. Experience with post-secondary education and federally funded grant projects are preferred. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, communications or related field required. Must have excellent working knowledge of computers, strong written and oral communication skills and group facilitation skills.

RESIDENTS HALL DIRECTORS

Three available positions whose primary areas of responsibility include: staff supervision, training and development and student development and programming.

These positions are part-time; Graduate student Assistantship that requires 20 hours per week in the office and a weekly nightly duty rotation. Receives medical and dental coverage and includes housing, parking and a meal plan when cafeteria service is in session. A yearly stipend will be provided. Education Benefits are also included. The position is for one year with the option to renew pending performance evaluation.

This 12-month position has overall responsibility for two residence halls. Residence Hall Directors are challenged to: maintain a positive living-learning environment in the residence halls that supports the university’s mission; establish and foster staff training, development, and community building in addition to mentoring students; intervene in student conduct violations and investigate incidents and issues of disciplinary actions.

Bachelor's degree is required, demonstrated leadership ability, strong organization and management skills, assertive and empathetic communication style, and experience with college residence life are strongly preferred. Position will begin on July 1, 2013. Program requirement: Candidate must be enrolled in any Graduate Program (Masters) within Chaminade University.

WEB CONTENT SPECIALIST

The Web Content Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding web content for Chaminade University’s Enrollment Management Department. Candidate must be detail oriented and possess the ability to work under tight deadlines. Responsible for implementing website initiatives by creating and editing written and visual web content on website, social media sites, and weekly email campaigns. Collaborates on initiatives in social networking, video sharing, web communities, online event promotion and other technologies. A working technical knowledge of website development and analytics needed to collaborate with the Webmaster to advise/implement good information architecture, design practices and consistent messaging for the public website; and to set tracking parameters and goals for marketing communications reports. Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of work experience required. Applicants should send a statement of interest, a resume and provide a writing sample.
