The School of Nursing is currently seeking clinical adjunct faculty in the areas of pediatric, medical-surgical, and maternity. Minimum qualifications: Candidates must have an unencumbered Hawaii State RN license. Candidates with a BSN degree must have at least three years in specialty providing direct patient care. Candidates with a MSN degree must have at least one year in specialty providing direct patient care. Prior teaching experience with students or preceptees is preferred. This part-time position will work with students to establish appropriate ADA accommodations; provide ongoing coordination in conjunction with accommodations; collect and maintain all documentation/records; counseling of students as needed. Masterís degree in psychology, social work, or related field required. Mental health licensure preferred.


Provides technology services and technical training to the general community; coordinates constituents to maximize the efficiency and availability of services offered, including access to educational technology, to online education, and to administrative functions. An associateís degree (two years of related work experience may be substituted for a degree) but a higher degree is preferred. Requires an individual with a high level of technical competence along with the ability to interact positively in a community. Candidate must possess a wide range of educational background and technical competence. Should have experience in teaching and/or offering workshops. Broad knowledge of technology and experience working with both Windows and Macintosh computers.


Chaminade University of Honolulu seeks applicants for three faculty members in the Education Division at the Lecturer/Assistant/Associate Professor levels. These positions involve teaching both graduate and undergraduate education related courses through both online and face-to-face platforms, curriculum development, student advising, university/community service, and scholarly research. The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to student success and collegiality. Minimum Qualification: An earned doctorate in education, curriculum and instruction or a related field. Desired Qualifications: A minimum of three years teaching experience in grades preK-12; exemplary post Ėsecondary teaching experience in a teacher preparation program; familiarity with program accreditation (i.e., CAEP); and content knowledge in one or more of the following areas: educational foundations, social studies, science, mathematics, language arts, catholic education or early childhood education. Under the supervision of the Athletic Training Staff, the candidate will be assigned to sports teams to care for and prevent athletic injuries, provide practice and competition coverage, and cover other duties assigned by the Athletic Training Staff. Candidate will be expected to assist during the transitional periods between seasons of the 10 varsity team sports (M/W Cross Country, M/W Basketball, M/W Soccer, W Volleyball, W Tennis, Softball, M Golf). Hours vary to include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Some limited travel coverage may be required.

Compensation: $10,000 over 12 months. No moving/housing benefit.

Tuition Benefit: Up to 1 class per quarter term during the first year of employment and up to 2 classes per quarter term during the possible second year of employment. Dependent upon acceptance into a masterís program at Chaminade University of Honolulu.


The Health Professions Advisor will advise pre-health students, track student progress, maintain student files and resource materials, develop and evaluate programs for pre-health students. The advisor will also serve as instructor for a lower division and upper division pre-health courses. Masterís degree required, preferably in education, counseling, and/or health profession with two years of experience in higher education, academic advising, and program development. Must have demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and have excellent communication skills. This is a ten month position at thirty hours per week. May require some evenings or weekends.


Seeking an individual whose primary responsibilities include the processing and orientation of all employees, database management and responding to all inquiries; must have: analytical/organization skills, proficiency with MS-Office, internet, detail-orientated, superior communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and externally, and judgment to properly handle highly sensitive confidential information with problem-solving skills. Must be multi-task oriented and able to work in a busy environment in a cordial manner. Requires at least one year of human resources, administration or related office experience position.


One available position for janitorial/grounds keeping work. Primary duties are custodial, grounds keeping, and setting up for events, and assisting maintenance personnel. High school education preferred; be able to lift 50 pounds; climb ladders; read and write in English; and a valid Hawaii driverís license. Janitorial experience preferred.
