Chemistry

Dr. Bulent Terem, Professor of Chemistry, has been at CHaminade since 1988. Previously he was employed by University of Hawaii as a Research Associate and then Professor of Chemistry. From 1979 to 1983 he was as Associate Professor (Docent) of Chemistry (promoted in 1983 from Assistant Professor) at the Middle East Technical University, Department of Chemistry, Ankara, Turkey. From 1978 to 1979 Dr. Terem was Technical Area Manager for Wellcome Foundation, Berkhamsted, Herts., United Kingdom. Previous to this, Dr. Terem did post-doctoral fellowships , from 1977 to 1978 at University of London, Chelsea College, Department of Chemistry and from 1975 to 1977 University of London, Queen Mary College, Department of Chemistry. Born in Turkey, Dr. Terem received his B.S. at Robert College in Istanbul Turkey, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D., University of East Anglia in Britain.
