Chaminade Student William Bow Receives National Outstanding Tutor Award

Honolulu, HI--Nov. 3, 2006-William Bow of Chaminade University of Honolulu received the Tom Pasternack Outstanding Tutor Award for 2006 on Oct. 20 from the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) at its annual conference in Austin, TX. Bow was the CRLA’s only recipient this year for the national award and was selected from nominations from across the country. Bow is a student peer tutor with Chaminade University’s Academic Advising Program (AAP).  He is also a CRLA certified Master Tutor with more than 300 tutorial hours in organic and biochemistry.
