Honolulu, HI – July 28, 2005 – First Hawaiian Foundation, the charitable arm of First Hawaiian Bank, has completed a four-year grant of $100,000 to Chaminade University of Honolulu. “We are grateful to First Hawaiian Foundation for its commitment to our Henry Hall Science Renovations project,” said Sue Wesselkamper, President of Chaminade University of Honolulu, whose institution is experiencing a steady growth in the number of students who have declared majors in the sciences, as well as in overall enrollment. “The Foundation was one of the very first financial supporters of the project. Their commitment helps increase opportunities for Chaminade students in pre-medical studies, forensic science, and biology fields.”
