Maui Invitational All-Tournament Tickets Still Available Through Booster Club
--Chaminade Has Choice Seats Available for Nov. 24-26 tourney--

HONOLULU – November 14, 2008 – Excellent all-tournament tickets are currently available for the EA Sports Maui Invitational, a sold-out event hosted annually by Chaminade University and considered the nation’s premier early-season basketball tournament.

Ticket prices include Hui ‘Āhinahina booster club membership. The tickets are priced at $860 for reserved seats located in the North Grandstands and $1,100 for reserved seats in the West end of Lahaina Civic Center. The all-tourney tickets are good for entry into all games played over the course of the tournament.

This year’s Maui Invitational will be held Nov. 24 through 26. In addition to host Chaminade, this year’s stellar lineup of top collegiate basketball teams from University of North Carolina, University of Notre Dame, University of Texas at Austin, Indiana University, University of Oregon, Saint Joseph's University and University of Alabama.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the tournament which was inspired by the historic upset of Chaminade over the top-ranked University of Virginia in 1982, led by three-time MVP Ralph Samson.

Chaminade last year launched its first ever booster club, Hui ‘Āhinahina, to support its athletics program. Named after the university’s team, the Silverswords, the new booster organization supports Chaminade’s Intercollegiate Athletic Department and student-athletes through funding for athletic programs, scholarships, equipment and travel opportunities.
