- This after-school program is designed to provide students with the extra help they need to succeed in school. Participating students are in 9th through 12th grade.
- Many Kaimuki students are from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or from immigrant families, with many other languages spoken on campus/at home.
- The FAFSA Assistance Project started here in Spring 2006, with Professor Richard Kido’s Accounting students helping families with college financial aid. Dr. Peggy Friedman’s class helped with marketing.
- Through Project Citizen, KHS students identified that the counseling and career prep services were not meeting the needs of the students who could have most used the help.
General Duties: Tutoring in various academic subjects (especially science, math, and english), help with homework
