The University of Dayton, founded by the Marianists in 1850, has approximately
11,000 students and is one of the nation’s ten largest Catholic universities,
and is also Ohio’s largest private university.
UD provides a large residential learning community that offers more than
70 academic programs in arts and sciences, business administration, education
and allied professions, engineering and law.
Chaminade University students have the opportunity to study at the University
of Dayton. Full credit will be given by Chaminade University for approved
courses that are successfully completed (C- or better).

Procedures
- CU student contacts Dean Joy Bouey for academic clearance.
- Dean Bouey responds to them and informs them to contact Dean Grissell Hodge for judicial
clearance and Asst. Dean Ricki Huff at UD. (rhuff@udayton.edu)
- Ricki receives email from Deans Bouey and Hodge indicating clearance by both.
- Once a CU student has spoken to both women, he/she should fill out the UD abbreviated

- In early March or early October CU students meet with their advisors and advising center to create a
tentative list of the classes they would take at UD. UD’s "course offerings" go up on-line in the FIRST WEEK of MARCH for Fall and MID-OCTOBER for January. CU students should go to the website and see what actual classes we are teaching. Below is the actual website at the
time these instructions were written. The date at the end of address will change: http://registrar.udayton.edu/comp_u_07fa.htm
- CU students email Ricki their class choices and with this early input, UD can virtually guarantee that they get what they need/want. Ricki will register CU students FIRST if she has their class choices in hand before UD registration begins.
- Once registered, students need to get their LDAP login and password. They get this by calling:
937-229-3888, press #2 for assistance.
- Once they have the login and password they are ready to go to the Housing website: http://housing.udayton.edu/
- enter "current student"
- click "waiting list" and fill out
- click to "contract" and fill out
Students are under no obligation until they actually ACCEPT the housing contract.
- Upon arrival on campus, students will want to get a UD ID card at the Powerhouse.
If you have questions, please contact Ricki Huff at 937-229-2603 or rhuff@udayton.edu
