Student Eligibility

A student is eligible to participate in the Academic Achievement Program if he/she is a citizen or national of the United States or meets the residency requirement for Federal Student Financial Assistance*.  The student must also be an accepted student to Chaminade University, have a need for academic support in order to pursue a degree at Chaminade University and meet one of the following criteria:

  • First generation student to college - neither parent/guardian received a four-year degree from an accredited U.S. college,

  • Low-income individual - income levels determined by the Department of Education

  • Student has a documented physical or learning disability.
