Freshmen Adventure Program

team of studentsThe Freshman Adventure Program (FAP) is an opportunity for AAP-eligible students to meet new people and learn about Chaminade University through a pre-orientation program. For three-days, students are taken on an immersion camping trip on which they participate in activities that will help them transition into college.

Students push themselves in high-initiative exercises (i.e. Ropes Courses) focusing on self challenge while maintaining the cohesiveness of the group. By the time the Fall semester begins, students have developed new friendships and sense of confidence as they start their college careers. Best of all, the program is completely at no cost to the participants.

Students are invited to attend FAP if they are AAP eligible, and will be enrolled at Chaminade University as a first year student for the Fall semester. For more information regarding the Freshman Adventure Program, please contact the Program Advisor/Events Coordinator at (808) 735-4835.
