Scholarships at Chaminade (University-funded)

Hawai'i Freshman Merit-Based Scholarships

The merit-based scholarships described below are automatically granted with Chaminade admittance to our full time, undergraduate program, for residents of Hawai'i, graduating from a high school in the state. Simply apply to the University, no additional paperwork is required. These institutional grants are given in addition to any aid based on financial need. These scholarships are renewed each year for a 4 years. For more details, see Eligibility below.

Hawai'i Regents Scholarships
Criteria: Cumulative High School GPA of 3.5-4.0
Award Amount: $8,000 per year, $32,000 over 4 years

Hawai'i Presidential Scholarships
Criteria: Cumulative High School GPA of 3.0-3.49
Award Amount: $6,500 per year or $26,000 over 4 years

Hawai'i Grants

Hawai'i Leadership Grant
Criteria: Cumulative High School GPA of 2.5-2.99
Award Amount: $5000 per year or $20,000 over 4 years

Eligibility & Other Details:

Your application for admission to Chaminade serves as the application for there scholarships and grants. Priority consideration will be given to applications received by May 1.

You will receive confirmation of your scholarship with acceptance to Chaminade, and the amount will be based on your known high school GPA. The award amount will be finalized when Chaminade gets a record of your cumulative high school GPA upon graduation.

These scholarships and grants apply to all U.S. Citizens and U.S. Nationals who are full-time undergraduate day program students. Students will receive the one best university-funded award for which they are eligible. Scholarship programs are reviewed yearly and are subject to change without notice.
