Welcome to Chaminade University's Graduate Programs

Our graduate programs are designed to meet the needs of working and professional students who seek to earn a graduate degree in their chosen field of study, to expand their knowledge, or to build upon existing expertise to improve their employability. Chaminade University's accelerated 10-week courses, offered in four terms per year, allow students to complete their degrees quickly. We offer courses in a variety of formats including evening courses, 100% online, or in a hybrid format combining online and evening meetings, in order to allow flexibility in completing your coursework.

Graduate Programs Offered: 

Master of Business Administration

The MBA coursework can be completed through evening classes, entirely online, or a combination of both evening and online courses. In addition to our general MBA program, concentrations are offered in Not-For-Profit Management, Accounting and Island Business.

Master of Education

The Master of Education (M.Ed) provides enriched learning experiences for educational professionals who already have a bachelor's degree and wish to extend their knowledge and professional qualifications in the field of education. Concentrations are offered in Instructional Leadership, Child Development, and Educational Leadership.

Master of Arts in Teaching

The MAT provides state approved teacher education programs leading to initial licensure for teachers in the state of Hawai'i in four areas: Elementary, Secondary, Special Education, and PK-K and PK-3 (Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 3).

Master of Science in Counseling Psychology

The Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (MSCP) program offers specialization in three areas: School Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, and Marriage and Family Counseling.

Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration

The Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration (MSCJA) program helps students develop critical thinking skills along with the ability to review, analyze, and disseminate applied theoretical knowledge pertaining to criminal justice administration and is recommended for those who plan to pursue careers/further education in law enforcement, homeland security and leadership development, private security and investigation, probation, parole and community corrections, and law school.

Master of Pastoral Theology

The Master of Pastoral Theology offers graduate-level theological study that integrates theory, practice, and connects doctrine with contemporary professional application to provide students with the foundational studies and practical training necessary for service in the wider Christian community and in ministerial settings.
