A Checklist of Things to Do Before You Arrive on Campus

Please note, all forms are included with your acceptance packet mailed to you from the Chaminade University Office of Admissions.

To pay with a credit or debit card: Go to our online deposit form and make a deposit, or give Admissions a call at (808) 739-8340 to make a deposit by phone.

Hawaii state law requires you to provide documentation of:

  • Immunizations for Measles #1, Measles #2, Mumps, Rubella and Diptheria/Tetanus
  • A negative tuberculin test (or negative chest x-ray) as noted on the Health Form within 1 year prior to registration
  • Proof of health insurance if you will reside in a residence hall, you are an international student, or you are an intercollegiate athlete

Housing Contract: If you would like on-campus housing, complete the Housing Contract (download) enclosed with your acceptance packet. Mail all copies of the contract along with your $300 housing deposit to:

The Residential Life Office will send out room assignment notices to students who have submitted housing applications and housing deposits. Room assignments will be made in August for the Fall semester and January for the Spring semester. Contact the Residential Life Office at: (808) 739-4648.

Orientation: Find information on the web and R.S.V.P. for New Student Orientation at New Student Orientation information will be mailed to you approximately one month prior to the start of classes. If you do not receive a notice, please contact the Student Support Services Office at (808) 735-4724.


Transcripts: Arrange for your final high school/and or college transcripts to be sent to the Admissions office. If you have taken Advanced Placement tests, please arrange for your scores to be sent to admissions. If you have taken college credit as an early admit, make sure admissions receives your transcripts:

Registration & Course Schedule: Once we receive your tuition deposit our enrollment specialist enroll you in your courses. You will receive a course schedule in the mail. Your enrollment will be confirmed when we receive your final transcript(s).


Payments for tuition, room & board, and fees must be made before the beginning of the semester. You have the option of signing up for a monthly payment plan. Enrollment in the plan begins July 1 for fall semester. Please note, depending on your financial aid and scholarship awards you may not need to sign up for a payment plan. For detailed information:
